Import ASN Routes

Screenshot of Import ASN Routes

HaCi will let you import all the routes associated with your Autonomous System, as registered on the RIPE whois database.

You can choose if you want to reimport everything or only what's new since last time you did this, and also if you want to remove obsolete entries. The imported address space will be added to a new root named 'ASxxxx' where xxxx is the ASN you entered in the form. The two options "Only insert new" and "Remove obsoletes" will only work if there is already a root with that name, not if you have renamed it or moved the address blocks to other places. If there are IPv6 addresses associated with your ASN, you will also get an IPv6 root named ASxxxx_IPv6. Results of import routes

If you are sourcing networks for your customers as well as your own, you will find them imported as if they were yours. HaCi has no means to detect this, and you have to manually delete them from the newly created root, unless you want to keep them visible for other reasons. Detail of routes not belonging to same ASN In the sample screenshot, you will have to manually delete the first two blocks, as they are allocated to the customers, not to yourself.

Once you have cleaned up the results of the import, you can HaciEditRoot rename the root?, or HaCiEditNetwork move the address blocks? to other existing roots, if you like.
